PMM, on behalf of their parent Developer, approached Dual to recruit and manage staff for a newly built residential development. This is following the Dual team working with several of their other sites and on the basis of our Account Manager having an already strong relationship with the site’s Building Manager and Property Manager.

the story so far

Agreeing roles

Initially we agreed job roles and timescales with the site’s Property Manager. It was agreed that 18 staff (Day and Night Concierges, Security Persons and Caretakers) would be required for this flagship development and that we could onboard the team within 2 months.

Recruiting

We have a rigorous recruitment process in place for all of our sites and this case saw 3 stages of interviews with our internal team (Recruitment Consultant and Account Manager) and the site’s Building and Property Managers. Despite the scale of this recruitment project, as with all Dual Management contracts, no recruitment fees were charged.

Onboarding

With a team for the site secured, our onboarding process commenced (note, at no charge). This included:

  • All Concierges and Security Persons attending our internal Abbatt Academy training.
  • E-learning covering topics including Fire Safety, Manual Handling, Lone Working etc.
  • Training for the site’s Building Link software.
  • Us hosting a site induction and familiarity day with the site’s Account Manager, Building Manager and Property Manager.
